![]() Having assembled all six Infinity Gems, Thanos debates what to do with his near-omnipotence. However, the results would be incredibly far-reaching. ![]() ![]() Unlike the events prior, Infinity Gauntlet is a (mostly) self-contained six issue mini-series. In the end, though, Thanos had the power of the Gods, all on the one hand.įinally, the big event was here: The Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos would also rename the six gems into the Infinity Gems, as each provided near-infinite power and only one actually granted the powers of the Soul. While Thanos is obviously a villain, it’s also awesome to see him take down each opponent with his intelligence and devious nature. Throughout 100 pages, Thanos would claw his way through six dangerous quests, one for each of the six Soul Gems. However, it is almost required reading for the pending crossover. ![]() Thanos Quest was short, at only two issues long. ![]()

![]() ![]() As a history of these communities unfolds, a general archaeological Atlantic identity breaks down into a range of regional identities which compare interestingly with each other and with traditional models of Celtic identity. A major theme running through the book is the role of the Atlantic seaboard itself and what impact this unique environment had on the ways Atlantic communities perceived themselves and their place in the world. He also pinpoints areas of similarity: the possibility of cultural 'cross-pollination' caused by maritime links and to what extent these contacts influenced and altered the distinctive character of local communities. By examining the evidence for settlement and maritime trade, as well as aspects of the material culture of each area, Henderson identifies distinct Atlantic social identities through time.
